Anuraga Matrimony verifies profiles to ensure authenticity and reliability. This includes verifying the provided mobile number through OTP (One-Time Password) or tele-calling. You will receive your ID for logging in to our website, and app. Our backend team will ensure that the data and photos are in the right form.

3. Search and Matchmaking:

Login with ID and Password and you can then browse through profiles of other registered members based on your preferences and criteria. Anuraga Matrimony offers various search options to narrow down your matches according to various parameters such as age, education, occupation, and more.

4. Communication:

Express interest in profiles that match your preferences to initiate communication. You can accept or decline interest received from other members, with notifications delivered via SMS or Email or both. Message Box provides visibility into
communication status and details.

5. Paid Membership Plan

Access to essential details such as the Bride/Bridegroom's name, parents' names, and contact details necessitates a paid membership on Anuraga Matrimony. Clients can select from a variety of membership plans that suit their preferences. The platform operates on the principle that "either one of the members should be a paid member to get connected," ensuring equitable access to crucial information for successful matchmaking.

6. Profile Management Tools

Enjoy access to various profile management tools as a paid member at no extra cost. These include horoscope matching, personal notes, send/receive personal messages, block profiles, print, and forward profiles.

7. Connect with Members

I've finished my registration, but why isn't my profile visible online?

Upon completion of registration, each profile undergoes validation by our backend team. They meticulously review profiles for accuracy and validity, including verifying mobile numbers through tele-calling to confirm authority. This manual verification process typically takes 3-4 working hours. Once approved, members receive notifications via SMS and email. Following approval, you can log in to view profiles of members of the opposite gender and within the restricted age range.

What are the general restrictions for registration and searching profiles?

On Anuraga Matrimony, there are specific restrictions for registration and searching profiles:

Community Restriction:

Anuraga Matrimony exclusively serves the Brahmin community. Therefore, individuals must belong to the Brahmin community to register on the platform. However, the admin may consider and verify profiles from other communities upon meeting satisfactory conditions.

Gender and Age Restrictions:

Members can search, view, or connect with profiles of the opposite gender only. Additionally, there are age restrictions applied to profile searches:

  • For brides: Profile search is generally restricted to individuals aged from 0 to +7 years.
  • For bridegrooms: Profile search is generally restricted to individuals aged from 0 to -7 years.

However, upon request, there is flexibility in certain cases where a maximum of 3 years can be relaxed by admin, particularly for profiles with upper age limits ( above 45 for females and above 50 for males), differently abled, and special cases.

Anuraga Matrimony retains the authority to limit access to profiles based on specific criteria as deemed necessary from time to time.

These restrictions are in place to ensure that the matchmaking process on Anuraga Matrimony aligns with the preferences and criteria of the Brahmin community while maintaining compatibility and suitability in partner searches.

Does Anuraga Matrimony exclusively cater to the Brahmin Community?

Anuraga Matrimony primarily focuses on serving the Smartha, Madhwa (Vaishnava), and Srivaishnava (Iyengar) sects within the Brahmin community. Nevertheless, other Brahmin sects and individuals from other castes are considered upon request and under specific conditions to ensure satisfaction.

Can I connect on FREE Membership? When should I upgrade to a Paid membership?

Anuraga Matrimony encourages you to register as a FREE member initially to explore potential matching profiles before considering upgrading to a paid membership. With the Free membership, you have the privilege to view matching profiles, shortlist them, express interest, and accept or decline received interests. All details, except for the bride/bridegroom's name, parents' names, and contact details, are accessible under the FREE membership. Paid membership becomes essential if you wish to access names and contact details of the members. However, if the other member is a paid subscriber, they can initiate contact with you.

You can access our services with a free membership for as long as you remain active on our platform. However, please note that if your profile remains inactive for more than 6 months, it may be subject to automatic deletion.

Is a profile photo mandatory on Anuraga Matrimony? Can I hide my photograph?

Yes, having a profile photo is mandatory on Anuraga Matrimony. We highly recommend uploading a good photograph for better results. However, we understand that some members may prefer to keep their photos private. The astrological matching feature is accessible to all paid members at no extra cost, and we recommend using it as an initial reference. However, we advise consulting your astrologer for final confirmation. It's important to note that Anuraga Matrimony bears no responsibility for the calculations, comments, or outcomes generated by the astrological software.

Is it possible to update my details on my profile?

Absolutely. You have the option to update your profile by clicking on the "Modify My Profile" button or selecting options under "Manage My Details." Please note that all updates require approval from our backend team before they become visible. Certain fields, such as Date of Birth, Time of Birth, and contact details, are restricted for changes. However, you can request updates for these fields via your registered email or phone to our backend team.

Being exclusive to Brahmins, is there any specific tool to search for my requirements?

Anuraga Matrimony provides a specialized tool for searching according to your specific requirements. The Advanced search option enables you to tailor your search beyond general criteria like Age, Height, Marital Status, Physical Status, Education, Occupation, Employed-in, and Country Living-in. Additionally, Anuraga Matrimony offers unique criteria including Sub Sect, Sub Group, Gotra, and Star, allowing you to find matches that closely align with your preferences within the Brahmin community.

Anuraga Matrimony also offers a Keyword Search option, allowing you to find more specific or unique matches by entering specific keywords or phrases that are relevant to your preferences or requirements. This feature enhances your ability to discover individuals who match your criteria even more precisely.

What's the purpose of the "MY MATCHES" and "MY SAVED SEARCH" tabs?

The "MY MATCHES" tab retrieves profiles that match the partner preferences specified in your profile, and it's continuously updated dynamically to reflect any new matches.

On the other hand, "MY SAVED SEARCH" allows you to utilize the Advanced Search feature, where you can filter profiles based on various criteria and save those specific search criteria. This enables you to easily access and refer back to your saved search preferences directly from your dashboard.

What are the tools available for Profile Management on Anuraga Matrimony?

My Saved Search (for All Members) – You can save your matching preferences through advanced search criteria and can be used to list the profiles at any time directly.

Shortlist Profiles (For all Members) : This feature allows you to mark profiles that interest you. All shortlisted profiles can be accessed conveniently from the "Shortlisted Profile" button on your dashboard. You also have the option to remove profiles from your shortlist if needed.

Personal Notes (For all Members): You can attach personal notes to any profile for your future reference. This helps you remember important details or impressions about specific profiles.

Forward Profile (For all Members): This tool allows you to share profiles with your family or friends if you believe the profile might be suitable for them. However, the recipients will need to register on Anuraga Matrimony to view the complete details of the shared profile.

Horoscope Matching(For Paid Members) : The astrological matching feature is accessible to all paid members at no extra cost.

Send Message (For Paid Members) : This tool can be used to send a personal message to any member. This will act as a reminder with SMS & email notification and the message will be visible only if the other member has paid membership.

Block Profile (For Paid Members) : With this option, you can prevent a particular profile from seeing your own profile in their search results. This feature is useful if you've already been in contact with the member or if you simply wish to avoid further communication with them.

Note that if you've previously communicated through Express Interest or Messages, the member can still view your profile through those channels.

How to recover or change my password on Anuraga Matrimony?

Password Recovery: If you've forgotten your password, you can easily reset it using the "Forgot password" option on the login page. Simply click on this option, and follow the instructions provided to reset your password.


Password Change: To change your existing password, log in to your account and navigate to the Main Menu. Look for the "Change Password" button and click on it. I have Expressed Interest or connected to a few members, but none of them have replied. Why?

Before sending Express interest or connecting with the member, it's crucial to thoroughly review the complete details of the member, including their partner preferences and About Me section, to ensure compatibility. Additionally, you can check if the member has viewed your profile in the Message Sent section. If they haven't viewed your profile, consider reaching out to them via phone to remind them. You can send your request to block / unblock your profile via email or messaging or tele-calling from your registered email / mobile.

However, it's important to note that blocking your profile for a certain period does not extend the validity of your paid membership. The duration of your membership remains unchanged, and the validity period continues to run even while your profile is blocked. Therefore, it's advisable to consider the remaining validity period of your membership before choosing to block your profile temporarily.

Do you charge any amount if the marriage is settled/ consummated through Anuraga Matrimony?

No, Anuraga Matrimony does not charge any additional amount if the marriage is settled or consummated through our platform. Once you have subscribed to our services, there are no extra fees or charges, regardless of the outcome of the match. We are committed to providing our members with a transparent and fair matchmaking experience without any hidden costs.

Both Free and Paid members have the option to opt out of Anuraga Matrimony any time by requesting the deletion of their profiles.
